This drawing is a parody of the rooster and chicken population on Kaua'i; as we are surrounded by screeching birds twenty-four hours a day. This really came to fruition after hurricane Iniki in 1991, sending them flying free everywhere to rule the land with a new brood of chicks arriving from any available hen every twenty-one days since. Some fantasy projects for hiding bodies and parts after the one millionth cockle doodle doo or hen shriek are illustrated here; however no birds were actually hurt in the making of this piece.
