The Napali coast on the isle of Kaua'i is to this day much as it was when discovered by the ancient Polynesians over two thousand years ago.
Rough and raw, it was home to those who lived and hunted high into its jagged cliffs and caves; as well as farmed and lived in the valleys below.
It remains difficult to access except by boat on rough seas, helicopter or on foot to such fantastical places as the Kalalau Valley; full of folklore, tales and objects of the past and present both real and story.
